Prior to my retirement from NSW Health, I Managed a team that administered the NSW Health state catalogue for medical and non-medical consumables and equipment. Other key roles were the implementation of Global Trade Identification Numbers (barcodes) in procurement, implementation of the United Nations Standard Product & Services Codes (UNSPSC), the implementation of integrated procurement systems to maximise the use of the state catalogue with embedded key identifiers (GTIN & UNSPSC) consistent with other industries .

HPPC Web Master & Research Officer

Developed and maintained the first website for the NSW Health Peak Purchasing Council (HPPC). A now defunct organisation of NSW Health, the HPPC used to manage the NSW Health state contracts for medical and non-medical consumables and equipment. The HPPC website was the landing spot for tenders and contract information and user guides, plus key project information progressed by the HPPC at the time.

A Purchasing Officer of MRD, South Eastern Sydney Area Health Services, one of my key roles was the establishment and maintenance of a Newsletter entitled "Group Supply". The key purpose was to open up new grounds in the improvement of the link between purchasing and the medical staff. I was also a key team member tasked with the major re-engineering of procurement business practices through the implementation of a fully integrated Oracle Materials Management solution, the first in the world to do so
